So, don't get me wrong, I want my little girl to have long, flowing hair. And I want it to be long enough so I can do pigtails, braids and such, but her hair was, as Mindy so eloquently put it, mullet-esque. The front and sides have always been shorter than the back. I want it to grow out evenly, so I decided it needed to be cut so it will do just that.
I will admit that I took off more than I intended, but I am no pro and she is a wiggly two-year old. Now she has a bob and I actually think it is kind of cute and fun for summer. And since it was mullet-esque, it really doesn't look to different in the front. When I cut off the first chunk, I showed it to Ashlyn and she got a big smile on her face and said, "Let's do it again!" I think I am going to have to keep any scissors hidden so she won't try to do it again! Anyway, here are the pics:

It looks stinkin' cute! That is the same reason I cut Addi-poo's hair. So hoepfully it will grow out even.
Hmm, all of this cutting is making me itch to cut SOMEBODY's hair. Now I have to decide whose! Oh, wait-I cut Brady's hair once and he wore a hat until it grew back out again!! So, I guess never mind. But, her hair looks really cute, I am very impressed you cut it yourself!

Ashlyn's hair looks really cute in a bob. It makes me want to get my own hair cut even more.
I think that turned out pretty darn cute. Any time someone brings up cutting a baby's hair, I always think of my sister Bridgett. She didn't get her first haircut until she was almost 8 years old or something.
