Disappointed

I went grocery shopping late last night, after the kids were tucked in bed and I had made my 2-week list. I am usually pretty good about sticking to the items on my list - I don't splurge very often. However, as I was going down the cracker isle to get both graham crackers and gold fish (two staples at our home), I spotted something too good to be true. I became an impulsive shopper and was (admittedly) a little giddy about my find. As soon as I got home, Brian and I broke open the package to indulge, only to be extremely, utterly disappointed.

Not the same thing. Not the same at all.

I appreciate that they tried, but Nabisco needs to go back to the research lab.
I miss Mother's.

This is not good news. I had heard that Nabisco bought the rights. How could they let us down like this?

I am, however, grateful for your apple recommendation. I'm running straight out to my nearest grocery store.

Oh man, that's too bad. I think I still have ONE hidden bag left from my stock-up raid, but I'm still waiting for the perfect occasion...and I'll bring you some!!!

:( That makes me sad. Those were fantastic treats, back in the day.

Bummer deal. Can the kids tell the difference?

I miss Mothers' too. They were so good.

But hey! New Minivan! Way to go!

I had no idea Mothers stopped making them! First Bea Arthur dying and now this? What is this world coming to? Good thing I can't eat cookies ever again! Sorry for the disappointment, but at least you won't be eating the whole bag now!
