Way back in June 2012, we had our annual Lifferth family vacation. We ended up at a cabin in Heber this year, which might seem a little strange (I thought so myself at first), but it was fabulous! It didn't take us hours to get to our destination, the scenery was beautiful, and it was just very relaxing and restful. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful and big enough to comfortably fit our entire family, with a hide-a-bed to spare :) Everyone was there, except Aaron, and his presence was greatly missed.
Mindy entertained and educated the kids with multiple science experiments:
How many kids can you or should you fit in a hot tub? We fit twelve and they had a blast! I think it was a main highlight for them. That, and the theatre room.
We went into town and spent some time at the park.
My kids enjoyed a ridiculously bubbly bubble bath in the oversized, jetted tub.
We saw some wildlife. Who needs Yellowstone, right?
We did a little fishing. Ben was the all-star fisherman.
I painted all the girls toes.
We enjoyed the crisp, clean mountain air, but saw the effects of the many nearby wildfires.
I love that my family still does an annual vacation. I look forward to it every year. We always have lots of fun and make lots of memories. Oh, and then there's the food! We all pitch in and take turns doing meals and we eat really well! We also went on some nature walks, played games, watched movies and just enjoyed each others' company. I love mi familia!
All the kiddos, minus one uncooperative little guy.
