This beast has been hanging out in the corner of our backyard. Can you say 'Charlotte'? I totally expect to see the word 'awesome' weaved into that web tomorrow morning.
YIKES!! Now that is what I would call a HuMoNgOuS spider. Of course I don't have a PVC pipe to compare it to, but believe me, my spider could eat your spider for breakfast - (especially since yours is already dead).

Wow! That things has fat rolls on his eight thighs. He needs a name. I dub him Gus.
I love the name Gus! That web is sort of amazing, you got to give him credit for that!
Well that's an anaphylactic reaction waiting to happen..... Or necrosis :)
NASTY!!! I HATE spiders...I wouldn't even be sticking around to take pictures of it...I would make Brady (in your case, Brian) take care of it ASAP (All Spiders Annihilated Promptly!!)
We have that exact kind of spider hanging out in one of our window wells. I've been wondering what kind (s)he is because it has such distinctive markings. Unfortunately, I think yours is bigger than ours. But only slightly.
This reminds me: The other day, Jordan and I were talking about breeds of dogs, and I was thinking of that adorable dog/puppy you took care of for a very short time in high school(?). Am I making this up? I have no idea. Anyway, I was wondering what kind of mix he was.
A.M.A.Z.I.N.G. Really. That is one rather large spider. And I'd be concerned. But the Jamer's I know turns it into a competition! Sweet! Who's gonna win?? GO GIRLS GO!
Did it weave your name into the web yet? Now, THAT would be interesting. And you'd win. Totally. :)
Oh my gosh...that is SO sick. I hate spiders, I can barely look at the picture for very long! Yikes! It was so fun to see you guys on Saturday! You have the cutest family ever...thanks for letting me take your pictures! Let me know your address and I'll mail you the CD tomorrow! Thanks Jamie!
Hey Melissa, I did have a dog for a few weeks in high school, and I am surprised you remember! It was at least a partial shar pei, I doubt it was a pure breed. But, I have no idea what it was mixed with.
Eeeekkk! Just eww, eww, eww, eww. Thank heavens I'm well over a thousand miles away from that horrible thing!
Eeeew!!! That is so incredibly nasty. Nasty nasty nasty.
Now that's a big cat face spider! Yuck! Those are good ones though. They eat the bad bugs...and they are no fun to kill, because they make a popping sound when you squish them!!
I'm going to have the heebie jeebies all day now. Thanks. :)
Wow! That is GROSS!!
