We went to the Healing Field in Sandy tonight. I think that the flags stay up for a week, so if you get a chance to go, I would recommend it. And in case you don't know what it is, there is a flag representing every person who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. The imagery is quite impressive. 9/11 was one of those poignant moments in history that I will tell my children and grandchildren about, remembering vividly exactly were I was and what I was doing when the attacks happened.

I too remember where I was and what I was doing that day. I remember how distressed I felt.I think this country has always felt so protected and out of harms way. Sept. 11th changed all that.
