The splash park by our house just re-opened after being down all summer. Consequently, we haven't made weekly trips to the splash park this summer like we did last year. We did try out a couple other parks, which were fun, just not as convenient ;o) But, we made due and have had plenty of fun in the sun.
Putting a sprinkler under the trampoline has proven to be quite entertaining.
And thank goodness for kiddie pools, which won't be nearly as effective and fun in a few years. But for now, they work wonders!
And let's not forget the ultimate classic, the slip-n-slide.
Even Luke made his way over to join the fun...it didn't last long once he realized how cold the water was.
To go along with all our water fun, we have eaten PLENTY of popsicles.
And now school is almost here and summer is coming to a close. Bummer.

I love the joy on their faces! Things were so much simpler as kids....
Oh, I miss summer already! The water activities were fun--can't wait for next summer.
